When Foxtel introduced voice control in 2020 – AKA during COVID – we didn’t have to look far for inspiration.
Meet Ferris, a pet cockatoo who breaks out of his cage and enjoys full run of the house while his family’s away. And what does he want to do? Watch Foxtel of course, made possible by the new addition of voice control.
Training a cockatoo to talk and remember a script seemed like a tall order, but so was creating such a detailed VFX character. Thankfully, our talented friends at Fin made it a dream.
